His older brother Jack is taken in by his mother's relatives and tutored to become a lawyer. With their father killed both boys must now survive in their respected enviornments. Conner takes the hard life of a labor camp, boxing and the military as his future. Jack takes the life of law and the play between what is real and what is the law. Both must learn the systems they have been engaged to for the rest of their lives. Friends and lovers come into play some real and some not. Life plays hard with the Oshay brothers.
