More DescriptionAlex was an only child raised by a single mother. Her death left him with no family until DNA evidence at a crime scene gave him more than he bargained for. The detectives had explained that he fit the description of a robbery suspect and asked if he would willingly come in for fingerprinting, which of course he had. Now he was sitting here wondering what the next step was going to be in the process. He wasn't scared, he told himself. He was innocent after all. But it was a bit surreal and, if he admitted it, a bit exciting. This whole thing could be an interesting experience to draw from in his future career as a journalist.Richards came into the room holding a file folder and sat across from him at the table. McCray closed the door behind them and leaned against the wall. "Your fingerprints confirm that you are not the suspect, Mr. Fielding," Richards began. She opened the file folder, exposing a photograph. "But we believe you know who he is."Alex looked at the photo and was dumbfounded. There in the slightly grainy, black and white shot, was a picture of him. Well it wasn't him of course, but it looked just like him, except for the hair. He asked stupidly, "Is that what I'd look like bald?"Richards glanced over her shoulder at McCray, then continued. "He left DNA on the scene as well as fingerprints. He's not in the system, but his DNA is an exact match to yours, making him your twin brother. So, we need to know where to find him, Mr. Fielding."Alex looked up at her with an odd expression. "I can't do that, detective; but you don't know how much I wish I could. You see, I was adopted. I didn't even know he existed!"
