Ninth US Cavalry First Sergeant Ben Carter and his special detachment are assigned to find geologist, William Heatherton, and his team of researchers, believed lost somewhere in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of New Mexico Territory. In their search, they encounter a strange boy, alone in the mountains, who talks of a mysterious prophet who seeks pilgrims for the hidden city of Eden to protect them from the Army of Satan, and the boy's teachings have led him to conclude that Ben and his men are the vanguard of that army.Is the boy, Moses, delusional, or is there truth in his tale of a hidden settlement?
