Research Director at the French CNRS, with a PhD in cell biology and microbiology, Jean-Marc Sabatier has discovered for the first time in the world (as of March 2020), that the «real» culprit of Covid-19 is not directly the SARS-CoV-2 virus but the dysfunction of the renin-angiotensin system (RAS), a hormonal system present in all organs and tissues of the human body. This RAS dysfunction (and the overactivation of its AT1R receptor responsible for Covid-19 diseases) is induced by the binding of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein (or vaccine spike protein) to the ACE2 receptor.

The scientist is going to unravel the finest mechanisms of this ubiquitous cellular mechanism in order to understand the ins and outs of it, which will allow him to anticipate the appearance of Covid-19 diseases not described at the time.

Over the months, Jean-Marc Sabatier has found his audience, mainly doctors and researchers from all over the world.
