Lewis' The Great Divorce is used to discuss basic Christological truths in the context of human happiness. Six important aspects of soteriology pertaining to Jesus from the Apostles' Creed are presented: 1) incarnation; 2) passion and death; 3) descent into hell; 4) resurrection; 5) ascension; and 6) second coming. Each presentation concludes with a series of reflection questions and meditative prayers. "To look for Deep Heaven" is to follow the way of the Lord Jesus, to believe in the truth he has revealed, and to enjoy a life of lasting friendship with him.
