Jest to czarno-biały album fotograficzny poświęcony Dolinie Caryńskiego, położonej w Bieszczadach. Jej mieszkańcy zostali przymusowo wysiedleni w 1946 r. do ZSRR. Album przedstawia surową bieszczadzką przyrodę na początku zimy. Na drzewach nie ma już liści, jest pierwszy śnieg. O tej porze roku prawie nie ma turystów.
