A checklist of Hong Kong fungi, including hosts, habits, and HKU(M) numbers has been prepared. In total 2122 fungi have been reported from Hong Kong of which 419 ascomycetes, 479 basidiomycetes, 757 mitosporic fungi (hyphomycetes, 757 coelomycetes), 60 myxomycetes, 390 lichen, 14 oomycetes and 3 zygomycetes.
