Book Description:

The cheetah is the world's fastest land animal--and one of its most deadly hunters. Residing mainly in African grasslands, cheetahs spend much of their time stalking and chasing down prey in the hot sun. When they are not hiding in tall grass, cheetah cubs watch their mother hunt from a distance. Soon they, too, will set off on their own to hunt for food. This book offers an in-depth look at this magnificent animal and the problems it faces for survival.
