Author Biography
Cook, Margaret (Author)
Ruth A. Morgan earned her PhD at The University of Western Australia (2012). She is a lecturer at Monash University in the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies. Her doctoral thesis was awarded the 2013 Margaret Medcalf Prize by the State Records Office of Western Australia. Her work as a co-editor includes a volume of Studies in Western Australian History, and a volume of History of Meteorology. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, The Conversation and The West Australian. She is the author of Running Out? Water in Western Australia, which won the 2016 WA Premier's Book Award for Western Australia History.
