Professor Marcia Langton is a professor at Melbourne University and an Indigenous rights activist in Australia. She has received many accolades, including an Order of Australia. She is the author of several books. Her 2018 book, Welcome to Country: A Travel Guide to Indigenous Australia, won the 2019 Indie Book Award for Illustrated Non-Fiction.
