By the time a person reaches 50 years of age there are certain life lessons that are expected to have already been learned and put into practice. One of these lessons is that people come first. Connections with others should be a priority in your life. If you are on the "hamster wheel of distraction" for any other pursuit on this Earth, you will miss out on real connections with people who you can mutually share the ups and downs of life. Another lesson that we should all learn by this age is not to judge so quickly or harshly by comparing everyone else to our own lives.
