Toni L. Rocha Toni L. Rocha retired in December 1999 from her position as police and fire reporter for the Beloit Daily News in Beloit, Wisconsin. She had more than thirty years experience writing in various areas of the communications field, including advertising. She wrote from her home in Roscoe, Illinois. Ms. Rocha travels, works counted cross-stitch, takes nature photographs, renders pen-and-ink drawings, carves wood, creates miniatures, gardens, and reads-a lot.
