She meets Vanda and Sofia, two young women with complicated lives who are staying at Treloar Farm, up on the moors and are organising a pony club camp at the end of summer. The following year in "Pony Trekking Across Goonhilly" a new family arrives on the moor. This gives Jenny a chance to go north to a big horse show and enter a show jumping competition. Later in the summer, a group of them go pony trekking across Goonhilly Downs. But during this idyllic summer of ponies and show jumping there is a background of dark secrets and complicated dangerous situations.
