Not only does Amelia believe she is going mad, something that could send her to Bedlam, she cannot seem to fit in with the other girls at Ipswich. To make matters worse, the cruel Headmistress Thorne has a grudge against Amelia and nothing she does seems to be right.

Crossed is set in the Victorian age, a time where girls are groomed to find rich men to marry and a story of a girl who comes to realize she is more powerful than she believes.
