English summary: Lasia Bloss analyzes and compares the corporate element of the freedom of religion as well as the institutional framework of churches and religious (as well as non-confessional) communities on the national and the European level. The author offers a comparative analysis of four EU Member States representing the more or less strict separation between church and state (France), co-operational links between the two (Spain, Germany), or an established church system (United Kingdom), and in doing so, she outlines the existing discrepancies and also stresses common parameters due to at least comparable, historically conferred, primarily Christian values and traditions. She then focuses upon the fundamental right of the freedom of religion on the supranational level as well as the legal framework provided by the European Union, including its primary and secondary legal sources respecting implications for churches and religious (as well as non-confessional) corporations, primarily resulting from directives regulating specific economic sectors and thereby touching upon religious self-conceptions. German description: Lasia Bloss untersucht - im Anschluss an eine allgemeine thematische Einleitung sowie einen historischen Abriss der europaischen Entwicklungsstrange des Staat-Kirche-Verhaltnisses - vier nationale Ordnungsschemata staatskirchenrechtlicher Art im Wege der komparativen Methodik: dasjenige Grossbritanniens, Frankreichs, Spaniens sowie der Bundesrepublik Deutschlands. In diesem Rahmen manifestiert und prazisiert sich die Typologisierung in drei Hauptkategorien der Betrachtung des Verhaltnisses von sakularer zu geistlicher Macht: das Trennungsprinzip, die Staats- bzw. Nationalkirche sowie das Kooperationsmodell. Im Folgenden analysiert die Autorin die grundrechtlichen Implikationen des Gemeinschaftsrechts der Europaischen Union, v.a. im Hinblick auf die korporative bzw. institutionelle Religionsfreiheit, und geht der Frage nach, welchen Platz Religion bzw. die Kirchen und Religionsgemeinschaften im gemeinschaftlichen supranationalen Ordnungsgefuge de iure und de facto einnehmen. Es zeigt sich, dass es in diesem Rahmen nicht um eine Nivellierung bestehender nationaler Strukturen bzw. eine Substituierung gewachsener Rechtssysteme durch einen Brusseler Kreationismus bzw. Kompositionismus geht, dass aber gleichwohl eine Vielzahl von Sektoren existiert, in denen der Faktor Religion bereits gegenwartig eine signifikante Rolle im supranationalen Rechtssystem spielt. Im Schlusskapitel werden einerseits die bestehenden staatskirchenrechtlichen Kongruenzen, Parallelitaten und Konvergenzen extrapoliert, andererseits Perspektiven in Richtung einer Zukunftsvision der Europaischen Union aufgezeigt.
