Many of her paintings highlighted small towns and activities of local individuals, many focusing on turn of the century topics. Most of her painting was done in acrylics, however she also did water colors. Often subjects were whimsical and fun representations of actual events. During her career she often received commissions from individuals and companies to do paintings dealing with specific subjects. Dann died in 2001 at the age of 70 having lived the last the thirty years of her life in New Haven, Missouri. Today, her paintings are highly priced and collected by art enthusiast.
