Therefore, through a narratological approach, the present study begins with the Emmaus story and from there develops the understanding of Easter as a theological event. Within the framework of a didactic development project, exegesis and pedagogy of religion open up a critical-constructive dialogue with a view to didactic teaching of the Bible. This joint theological work then leads to narratologically-based teaching designs that have been tested, empirically researched, and evaluated within school practice. The volume presents the results of an interdisciplinary project and invites the reader to view cooperation between academic science and didactics as well as empirical orientation as essential components of a pluralistic Bible didactics. German description: Christlicher Glaube steht und fallt mit Ostern. Die vorliegende Studie setzt daher mit Hilfe eines narratologischen Zugangs an der Emmauserzahlung an und entwickelt von dort ein Verstandnis von Ostern als theologisches Ereignis. Im Rahmen eines fachdidaktischen Entwicklungsprojektes eroffnen Exegese und Religionspadagogik ein kritisch-konstruktives Gesprach mit Blick auf bibeldidaktische Unterrichtsprozesse. Die gemeinsame theologische Arbeit fuhrt zu narratologisch basierten Unterrichtsdesigns, die in der schulischen Praxis exemplarisch erprobt, empirisch beforscht und evaluiert wurden.
