The contributions to this volume attempt to develop new perspectives and inspire critical discussion about a text which is understandably, but unjustifiably, marginalized time after time. Jahrhundert geraten ist, nie wirklich abschutteln konnen. Seine Artifizialitat und Komplexitat (oder doch nur Kompliziertheit?) haben einer breiteren Beschaftigung mit dem umfangreichen Text immer entgegengestanden.
