English summary: Simon Roth's "Ein Teutscher Dictionarius" represents a unique work of German lexicography in two ways. Amongst the set of monolingual Latin and Latin-German dictionaries of the 16th century that were primarily intended for teaching Latin, it stands out as a predominantly monolingual German dictionary for non-speakers of Latin. It is also the first dictionary in the German language area that explains difficult and unfamiliar words of non-native origin, and is therefore considered a forerunner of today's dictionaries of foreign words. This study contains a detailed meta-lexicographical analysis of the first edition of 1571. It provides information on ancient sources as well as on source material and templates of the time. In addition, a comparison with Bernhard Heupold's "Teutscher Dictionariolum" (1602) provides new insights into its immediate historical reception. This study positions Roth's work within the framework of humanistic dictionary practice and demonstrates its value with regard to dictionary development up to the present day. German description: Simon Roths 'Ein Teutscher Dictionarius' ist in doppelter Hinsicht ein besonderes Werk der deutschen Lexikographie: Es sticht als uberwiegend einsprachig-deutsches Worterbuch fur Lateinunkundige aus der Menge der einsprachig-lateinischen und lateinisch-deutschen Worterbucher des 16. Jahrhunderts heraus, die primar fur den Lateinunterricht gedacht waren. Auch ist es das erste Worterbuch im deutschen Sprachraum, das schwere, unbekannte Worter nicht nativer Herkunft erklart, weshalb es als Vorlaufer der heutigen Fremdworterbucher gilt. Der Band enthalt eine detaillierte metalexikographische Analyse der 1. Auflage von 1571. Er bietet Informationen zu antiken wie zeitgenossischen Quellen und Vorlagen. Ein Vergleich mit Bernhard Heupolds 'Teutschem Dictionariolum' (1602) liefert zudem neue Erkenntnisse uber die unmittelbare historische Rezeption.
