The study of Parmenides didactic poem focuses on the question of the logic of such a language without the possibility of differentiation and according to the knowledge which it can express in general. Parmenides kennt einen Weg zur Wahrheit und gibt genaue Anweisungen, wie dieser Weg zu gehen sei: 'Sage allein ist und vermeide jedes ist nicht!' In der Sprache dieses Weges ist es unmoglich, falsche Erkenntnisse darzustellen. Im Mittelpunkt der Untersuchung des Lehrgedichts des Parmenides steht so die Frage nach der Logik einer solchen Sprache ohne Differenz und nach den Erkenntnissen, die sich in ihr uberhaupt ausdrucken lassen.
