The present study is concerned with the textual history of the Books of Samuel and of Kings, about which scholars have still not been able to agree. Various textual forms can be identified in these books, in both the Hebrew (MT, Qumran) and the Greek texts ("Kaige Recension", "The Antiochian Text"). Finally, a textual history is reconstructed from the 2nd Century BC up to the Middle Ages.
