Landscape designer and author Robert Kourik enrolled in Southern Methodist University with the intention of being a filmmaker but eventually dropped out.
A self-taught horticulturist, Kourik has written a number of books on the topic. These include Designing and Maintaining Your Edible Landscape Naturally, Easy Composting and Drip Irrigation for Every Landscape and All Climates. His works are marked by an exceptional amout of research and he is in much demand as a horticultural speaker.
