Drones,
what a wonderful hobby, but don't be fooled it's a stressful one as well, that is why it is very important to prepare for your flight. If you don't want your drone having a flyaway situation you must learn to do your pre-flight checks, mistakes are made when too little time is spent doing a proper check. I have had a flyaway and I must say it's not very pleasant. I took off at night and didn't update my home position, a very expensive mistake, especially when a drone can cost up to $1,000 or more!
Believe me, you will find situations where you want to launch straight away because you see something worth videoing.

When something goes wrong with your drone, like a flyaway, 99% of the time it's the owner's fault and not the drone's. These drones today are incredibly accurate so, for example, if you have your 'Return to Home' set too low it's going to crash or fly out of sight behind trees or buildings. So, to sum up, the demise of your drone is usually down to you.

This book takes all that stress away, you can tick off your checklist as you go along, or maybe even add some of your own! I wanted to keep it simple so what you have here are the basic and most important ones.

At some stage we all try to push our drones to the limit, sure isn't that part of all the fun. But, If you keep to the rules of this book, you are seriously putting the odds on your side.
