Vision
Everyday is a new day, thus our feelings are ever changing. The joy you have today, may be just a little less visible tomorrow, or vice versa, and that's ok. Understanding what regularly impacts your emotions is important. When you can explain how you are feeling to yourself, it is easier to help explain it to your mom, your dad or even your therapist. Thus, use this journal as a reflection tool. A mirror of sorts of your growth

Guided Journal Sections

• How do you feel? - Right now, at this moment. Remember, yesterdays feelings are not today's feelings. Connect with your emotions and express yourself. Are you happy? Are you sad? Are you confused about your feelings? Whatever emotion you feel, be honest.
• What "truth" did you discover today? - As you answer this question, think about a new fact you learned. Don't limit yourself. Be creative and free to express yourself. Think about why this discovery made you feel the way it did, even if it isn't directly related to your emotions.
• Any Lessons Learned? - Lessons teach us how to handle a situation differently each time we encounter it. So, now that you know how you feel and you've identified a new "truth," bring the noise and name the lesson learned. (i.e. I learned that it is ok to ask questions)
• Ok, what next? - Time for everyone's favorite subject, HOMEWORK. Here, we create a resolution/next steps for everything we discussed above. This is a no-flex zone. Be realistic in this section. Don't set goals that are difficult. Yes, challenge yourself, but be kind to yourself. As you refer back to past entries in this section, you will ideally see how you have grown emotionally.
