As for what follows, then this work book is a study guide to be used alongside lessons for Oxford Salafi Dawah. It is based upon the famous book 'Buloogh Al-Maraam' by the well known scholar known as 'Ibn Hajar Al-'Asqalani from the explanation of the late Shaykh Mohammad bin Salih Al-'Uthaymeen (May Allah have mercy on them both) titled: 'Fathu Dhul Jalali wal Ikram'. This study guide comprises of some of the main important and prevalent Fiqh issues and rulings that relate to the Fast. The study guide starts off with a brief introduction into the linguistic and legislative meaning of the Fast along with the ruling of Fasting as mentioned in the Qur'an and the wisdom behind the Fast being legislated. It is then followed by numerous Ahaadeeth (Prophetic Traditions) that relate to the Fast along with a short explanation of the Hadeeth and/or a break down of some of the words mentioned in the Hadeeth (where necessary) followed by numerous benefits extracted from the Hadeeth and a discussion of the rulings found within the Hadeeth.
