Burfoot, Amby (Author)
Shalane Flanagan is an American long-distance runner and author, based in Portland, Oregon. She is a 4-time Olympian, 2008 Olympic silver medalist, winner of the 2017 TCS New York City marathon, at the 2014 Boston Marathon, she ran the fastest time ever by an American woman. She is also the American record holder in the 3000 meters, 5000 meters and 5k road race. She and Elyse Kopecky are co-authors of Run Fast. Cook Fast. Eat Slow: Quick-Fix Recipes for Hangry Athletes.
