Developed to help college students understand why Christianity makes sense, and how faith is not a blind leap in the dark but rests upon a bedrock of reason, this basic apologetic draws upon history, science and cultural studies. Our first universities were founded by Christians. Hospitals, the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, International Humanitarian Law, numerous charities and our American Republic are the direct result of Christians living out their faith. Some of the greatest thinkers, scientists and artists throughout history - Galileo, Kepler, Newton, Mozart, Beethoven, Tolstoy, Solzhenitsyn, Sojourner Truth - were men and women who followed God's mandate to be salt and light in the world
