More DescriptionIm hurt but not broken, a little bitter but not broken, frozen but still not broken. This is what Daisy felt when seven years ago she overheard a conversation between Suel and her friend Brenda. Now seven years later Suel was back in town for good. Everyone, meaning his family, was expecting him to settle down and Daisy was sure his childhood friend, beautiful Melinda, would be a perfect candidate for the post of his wife. Therefore she was more than surprised when he proposed marriage to her. Suel thought Daisy was the perfect solution for his problem; after all, she was his fathers favorite. Years ago his father had made it more than obvious that she would make a perfect wife for Suel and hence Suel had taken instant dislike of the girl. Everything about her had started to irritate him, although he was a good friend of her brother Dave. Now when he returns home to find her engaged to very unsuitable Marc, who was two-timing her with a dozen other girls, Suel thought it his responsibility to protect his friends sister. It was unfortunate that his father suffered a heart attack just when Suel succeeded in breaking Daisys engagement to Marc. So now he decides to fulfill his fathers wish and proposes to Daisy. She agrees on the condition that it will be a marriage in name only. But she was still not sure why he asked her when it was clear that it was Melinda that he preferred.
