Created in 1953 by the GMAC in order to respond to the problem of assessing the level of students from around the world wishing to enter a business school, the GMAT provides a standardized and international system of performance measurement2. The GMAT is available in 96 countries around the world, used by 3,000 management schools and taken more than 200,000 times per year3. It is not intended to measure motivation, creativity, critical thinking, leadership capacity or other interpersonal skills that are necessary for a management career.

The test must be taken before the end of the MBA admissions procedures.
