More DescriptionThis is an easy-to-read, large font, one column per page (just like a regular book you might read and NOT the two columns per page, small font text found in most Bibles) account of Genesis, and God's relationship to man, and more relevantly His relationship to you and me, and how that relationship was once torn asunder by sin. It contains a vast storehouse of information, from the Garden the Eden through Noah's Ark, the Tower of Babel, the destruction of Sodom, and so much more. A treasure trove of knowledge and insight on the ways of God. It is also a powerful testament to faith and the awesome work of God in the lives of men and nations.
And although the Book of Genesis and all other books of the Holy Bible were penned by men, it is accurate to say that God himself is the author of all the books. 2 Peter 1:21 tells us, "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." The author of this Book is God Almighty.
These Holy Scriptures were carried in the hearts of those Christian soldiers who brought the Cross of Christ back to the City of David in the year of our Lord 1099 A.D. That journey of these Crusaders was inspired by Pope Urban II at the Council of Clermont in 1095 A.D., when he invoked passages from Genesis and succeeding books of the Holy Bible, and it inspired a Crusade that changed the course of human history and opened safe passages to the Holy Lands, even to the present day.
These men of God, the Crusaders, did the impossible. These were the few brave souls, filled with the Holy Ghost, who took part in the Quest of a lifetime to reclaim surrendered hallowed ground. And they became more than conquerors. They are a portrait of Christendom at the end of the Dark Ages, when a lone remnant championed the godly virtues and guiding principles of Holy Scripture. The Crusader embodied the faith Jesus marveled at in Matthew 8:10, when He spoke to His followers of the Centurion: "Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." This book is the path to such great faith -- the faith of a Crusader. This is the Word of God.
