Six years ago, the war-torn world was divided into Districts. Asia is the Cobra District. Australia and New Zealand are the Roo District. Africa is called the Lion District. Europe is the Boar District. Central and South America are know as the Jaguar District. North America is the Eagle District. Fighting over supplies, land, and resources is what started this whole mess. As casualties increased and more soldiers never returned home, the world knew it was time for a change. A change in the way we fight. Thus, the Chemical Revolution began. Biologists, chemists, and engineers from all six Districts worked in a race against humanity to make warfare more efficient and affective. The plan was simple: Create a fast and easily maneuverable mode of transport and weaponry all in one. That is when the mythical, now real dragon, was born. To combat the extensive amount of lives lost in this war, the governments of all the Districts came up with a global day to keep the war going, each hoping they will reign victorious one day. This dreadful day was known as Draft Day.
Journey with soldier, dragon rider, and friend Skylar Perin as she navigates life from her typical teenage routine to combating the transition of being thrown into her District's military. Follow her as she bonds with dragons, connects with a childhood best friend, bickers with the school bully, and uncovers secrets the government has hidden from society. She misses her old lifestyle, but has found her groove in her soldier uniform. What path will she lead herself and her District in this war-torn world?
