This is a faith based non-fiction memoir. God put great-grandparents on a journey that led to adoption of their great-grandson. God has directed me to share some of the vulnerabilities of this family. I am honored to have walked closely with these great-grandparents. Their journey was and is one on sorrows, losses, and discoveries. Their great-grandson was born hearing impaired and was in the NICU. He was born with no heart beat and had seizure activity. This family began to advocate at the state level, at the school level, and much more. I hope that the reader will see and receive information which will help them to not feel so alone or perhaps learn a resource available to them. It is my desire that laws will be changed to aide these senior citizens and the adopted children outside of the Foster System. The reader will learn that he was to receive many diagnoses and begin to see how they impacted them. The great-grandparents names of Brian and Mary McClellan are fictional. All names and locations are fictionalized.
