Religion(s) submit that God created. This book submits that the word 'created' is usually abused, used in place of words like 'transformed'. More DescriptionReligion(s) submit that God created. This book submits that the word 'created' is usually abused, used in place of words like 'transformed'. Thus for the sake of the book and to guide the conversation, 'create' is redefined for the book as 'something from nothing', and 'transform' is defined as 'something from something else'. These two words are mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive. This would make creation something truly special. IF creation took place, one conclusion could be it was accomplished by something we could call god(s). However, it is not possible for humans to know with certainty if creation took place, though they can certainly choose to believe that it did. We know with certainty that transformations take place, and our understanding of transformations is very strong and getting stronger. But all transformations start with time, space and physics already available. The question is, were time, space and physics created or did they always exist? Humans cannot know, so some adapt a faith to resolve this.Humans rely on faith to resolve uncertainties that they are otherwise unable to resolve. Faith substitutes for knowledge. Religions are human belief systems influenced by emotion and observation, but belief is not knowledge. Science allows humans to examine transformations that take place in time and space via physics. However science is limited to the examinations of transformations and thus like religion can only postulate if or how creation took place. It is a basic human right for individuals to select and live any faith including those related to religion, but that right does not imply the right to impose their faith on others. Faith has the capacity to be productive for individuals and our society. But faith becomes dangerous to the individual and society when individuals do not effectively question and understand the motivations of those using faith to influence actions of other individuals.Any and all proceeds the author recieves from sales of this book will be donated to the Red Cross.
