More Description
There were two very different families among the residents of Greystone, the Williamses and the Clemonses. Mark, son of Rev. David and Lydia Williams, was an outstanding, talented, kindhearted young man. Bradley Clemons Jr. was a spoiled, selfish, lawless troublemaker. When the two young men crossed paths, tragedy resulted. In the aftermath of that shocking incident, the Williams family discovered they were not the only people in Greystone who had suffered at the hands of Clemons and his son. The greedy business practices and criminal activities of Bradley Clemons Sr. had far-reaching effects. He had built his financial empire on the backs of others and stepped on the little people who got in his way. He even purchased favor with Chief of Police Leonard Hatfield, who saw to it that none of the allegations brought against Clemons could be proven.
Something had to be done to clean up the corruption traceable to Bradley Clemons. Prayer played a major role in bringing about both justice and mercy. In an amazing series of events that could only have been orchestrated by the powerful, unseen hand of God, hearts in Greystone began to change. However, other hearts remained as hard and cold as stone.
Greystone Hearts tells a story of tragedy, revenge, healing, forgiveness, redemption, mercy, retribution and justice that centers around the age-old question, "Why do the righteous suffer while the wicked seem to prosper?"
