Chen, Kan (Author)
Kan Chen received his B.EE. from Cornell University, and S.M. and Sc.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Chen is Professor Emeritus of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and International Director of the ITS Research Center of Excellence at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor. He is an IEEE, AAAS and ITS AMERICA Fellow. Chen holds several patents, has authored 7 books and over 140 articles published in professional journals.
