More DescriptionIt seems that Gloria Taylor, an octogenarian British admitted to a nursing home and whose memory wavered at times, far from the ideal person to recreate a period and a space-World War II in Britain apparently well-known, almost family so visited by the film and literature. However, it is the voice of Gloria desabrida which tells this story: his memories, fragmentary and stakeholders, deseeded a biography full of dark secrets and concealed a pain after a fierce mask of humor. Pressed by his son, deslenguada and vital-loving jokes of all colors (especially blacks and greens negrsimos) of food and sex, Gloria recalls from the ruins of the present times of war: fear, the bombing, rationing, blackouts and hardship, but also the discovery of love and sex. Fleeting and intense relationship, burdened by guilt and by the proximity of nothing metaphorical death, with neat American soldiers; relations that Gloria lives in a kind of carpe diem crazy. But on the fugitive had consequences that were atrocious in their lives.
