Mojdeh was first inspired to write by the literary endeavors of her father, Dr. Hooshang Oormazdi. Dr. Oormazdi, an Iranian Pediatrician, is a life-long poetry enthusiast and often recites his compositions from memory to the delight of family and friends. Mojdeh is quite close to both of her parents, and her father's love of the written word influenced Mojdeh's choices.
The book is illustrated with color artworks and photos by Mojdeh, her family, and her friends.
Since gaining her U.S. citizenship in 2020, Mojdeh has become a world traveler, even during the COVID era.
