This circular, funded by the Northern Plains Heritage Foundation, is issued in support of book discussions to be convened at public libraries in the Northern Plains National Heritage Area. The book discussions, organized by the Center for Heritage Renewal, are intended to build public consciousness of the three heritage themes of the NPNHA: Homeland of the Mandan and Hidatsa; Lewis and Clark, Sacagawea, and the Corps of Northwest Discovery; and Custer and the 7th Cavalry.
