I'll be back JENNY, a 10 year old girl, is in a hospital with a serious illness and might die. She is, however, not afraid at all. She believes in reincarnation and is looking forward to a new life without her bad health. The heavens on the other hand, have different plans for her. Jenny comes back to earth alright but as a little hummingbird in the cold of Canada. An unusually early arriving of winter made a large flock of Hummingbirds miss their special airstream to carry them to the warm south. Now she has to find a way to save their lives. With only hours left, Jenny uses all her human skills and knowledge to overcome the many obstacles on her way to their winter sanctuary in Florida. At the end of the journey their leader and heroine has to return to heaven.She is send several more times back to earth. As a tiny yellow frog to help her species who is facing extinction, as a small fish to guide a school of salmon to their spawning grounds and as a little rabbit to prevent a large colony of her brothers and sisters from being killed. Just like the true heroine she is, she has completed her dangerous missions perfectly and shares their friend's destiny. At last the heaven approves Jenny's wish to know how her family is coping. She returns to earth as a ghost and gets to see a glimpse of her family's everyday life. She also will be able to fulfill a promise she made to a boy, her first puppy love. And by doing so, she will be extremely surprised.
