After the leaves have lost their green luster and become the beautiful shades of red, gold, brown, and rust; after they have fallen, we desire to see them grow again. As the snow falls, and ice-capped tree limbs dance before our frosted windows, we wait anxiously for it all to melt. We replace swimming suits with jackets and necklaces with scarves. More DescriptionAfter the leaves have lost their green luster and become the beautiful shades of red, gold, brown, and rust; after they have fallen, we desire to see them grow again. As the snow falls, and ice-capped tree limbs dance before our frosted windows, we wait anxiously for it all to melt. We replace swimming suits with jackets and necklaces with scarves. We are outdoors barbecuing one day, and on the alps of mountains, skiing the next. There is beauty in every season of life. Seasons change and can bring the unexpected. In a short time, our lives can shift like the blink of an eye. Whether we are a victim of circumstance or consequence is really to no effect because regardless of cause, the season has changed. We can either choose to embrace what is and forge forward the best way we know how or remain stuck in a place that wallows in the darkness of it all. It is our choice. Today, we choose to make the best of our situation and trust God, our Father and his heavenly plan. We choose to rely on the blood of Jesus Christ, and the comfort of the Holy Spirit to guide us and protect us as we take this journey through uncharted land. We pray the prayers of Psalm 23 and Psalm 91, having faith that all is well within our souls.Father, I thank you. It is well, with my soul. Trust God and the peace of God will come upon you.
