This Enthusiast Edition is a less expensive, less academic version intended for those who want to learn about a wider array of Italian wines but are not pursuing a wine credential.

This book assumes no particular prior knowledge of Italian wine, leading the reader from an overview of the country through a description of the information on Italian wine labels to an introduction to numerous styles of wine produced throughout Italy.
