More DescriptionINTRODUCING THE OCTA-ELLIPSOID: ESTABLISHING GLYPHS AND TEXTILE DE-CONSTRUCTS by Dionne Krown, introduces Octa-Ellipsoid glyphs sketches, and textile art. Using imagination, visualization, interpretation, and deconstructive processes, pieced together on canvas, using scissors, fabric scraps, and glue, OE perspectives are presented to audiences as a deconstructive technique for post-structural sociological analyses and perspectives. In this introductory chapter book, the introduction introduces the OE and the first chapter elaborates and addresses: authenticity, legitimacy, legality, and intrigue, as distinctions in diaspora by way of discourse and discursive formations. These views, perhaps synesthetic, showcase the propelled condition known now as the Octa-Ellipsoid, as a post-structural i.e., deconstructed contexts.
