Keeling, Dave (Author)
David Hargraves Hodgson was born in 1939. He was a judge of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the highest court in the State of New South Wales, Australia, which forms part of the Australian court hierarchy. Hodgson was educated at Sydney Grammar School. In 1962 he graduated with degrees in Arts and Law from the University of Sydney. Hodgson subsequently studied as a Rhodes Scholar, attaining a doctorate of philosophy at University College, Oxford. In 1962 Hodgson served as associate to High Court judge Sir Victor Windeyer. He was admitted to the bar in 1965, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1979. Hodgson was appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court in 1983. He was Chief Judge in Equity from 1997 - 2001, and was appointed to the Court of Appeal in 2001. He also served as a Commissioner of the New South Wales Law Reform Commission part-time, and was assistant editor of the Australian Law Journal from 1969-76. He has written several books on philosophy of the mind. Some of his titles include Consequences of Utilitarianism , The Mind Matters: Consciousness and Choice in a Quantum World and Rationality + Consciousness = Free Will. His title Halo 4 made The New York Times Best Seller List for 2012. His title The Legend of Zelda Box Set: Prima Official Game Guide made the list in 2013.
