Nursery owner and orchid royalty Maui Monroe organizes a fieldtrip to his brother's nursery in Maui for members of the Orchid Society. This is a great opportunity for Gilda, Kelly, and Mikki and some of their other friends who have never been to Hawaii. The excitement is big as their plane touches down in Maui and they travel to their hotel in Wailea. The group settles in to their hotel and goes out for some sightseeing. Upon their return, Mikki realizes that her beautiful heirloom ring from her grandmother is missing. She doesn't make a big deal out of it becasue she doesn't know if she misplaced it. But the next day, Gilda is missing a valuable necklace and Kelly's I-watch is gone. Without informing the local police, they start watching out for people who are in the rooms on a regular basis: housekeeping, maintenance, bellboys, room service, but none of them seem suspicious. Other guests seems to be coming up with missing valuables now too and the hotel management and police get involved. Gilda, Kelly and Mikki find a hot lead and get in a lot of trouble...
