More DescriptionThis half fiction starts in 1945 and ends in 2004.It's about my parents who were born and raised in a village and small town far from the capital. I described them in a triangle of Western influence, communism and unique traditions. My father was born in 1935, on the rising militarism. But his second step was on the drastic change. It's made of 3 parts:1. the value of freedom, democracyFreedom and democracy are very precious and fragile. I wrote this story to express my gratitude to the people who raised and conveyed these fragile treasures. The people are, for example, the people who died for the French revolution in 1789 and Martin Luther King who fought for freedom. I was born in 1964 in a poor family. Even so, I took them for granted that I could have dreams and school education. I think I can live in this society of democracy and freedom because of these people.2. women's statusAll people are standing on this modern world where giants have changed. But each giant in his babyhood was supported by someone near him. A baby can't grow alone. Women have been still forced to be on the side of supporting in many parts of the world.3. finding a meaning of lifeTraditional life style has been changed by Western culture. Sometimes the change is harmony. Sometimes it's compromise. At the end I included a new way for the next generation. Most parts of the world had experienced a long age when women should not work in male dominated occupations. Now in many parts of the world women are working in male dominated industries. I have a dream; children till three years old will be accepted in the work place. There are many parents who love both working in organizations and sharing precious time with their children. This is like good old time farmers, including my husband's parents, who used to put their babies in baskets in their fields.
