In 2013, I had an opportunity to work in Venice for a week as an artist in residence and travel with my wife, Kathryn, to other parts of Italy for another week. I was also able to visit Florence several times and spend another few weeks in Venice, again as an artist in residence, in 2015. The images in this book are the results of those visits.
