English summary: This volume provides the first biographical study of a well-known representative of Halle Pietism; the theologian, composer of hymns and publisher of hymn-books Johann Anastasius Freylinghausen (1670-1739). It focuses particularly on his theological career and portrays it in the context of the emergence and consolidation of Halle Pietism. As a consequence, Freylinghausen is presented as an independent individual who had been influenced by many different personal experiences, even before his involvement with the "Glauchaschen Anstalten" (Glaucha Foundations). German description: Vorliegende Untersuchung bietet erstmalig eine biografisch orientierte Studie uber einen namhaften Vertreter des hallischen Pietismus, den Theologen, Liederdichter und Gesangbuchherausgeber Johann Anastasius Freylinghausen (1670-1739). Sie widmet sich insbesondere seiner theologischen Entwicklung und stellt diese im Kontext der Entstehung und Konsolidierung des hallischen Pietismus dar.
