More DescriptionThe purpose of this study is to support the GMP process by examining the current transportation-related conditions associated with JOFI and its plans for the future. The organization of this report is as follows: Chapter 2 summarizes existing conditions related to the JOFI site and the surrounding area, including site management, visitation, land use, and transportation. Chapter 3 explores and assesses a variety of potential activities that NPS could undertake to improve access to and information about the JOFI site. Chapter 4 expands upon Chapter 3, by applying some of the potential activities to the possible GMP alternative of opening a satellite visitor center in the Coolidge Corner area. Chapter 5 provides conclusions and next steps for NPS to consider. The appendices provide follow up information on many of the activities described in Chapter 3.
