More DescriptionA limited edition artist's book celebrating ten formative years of artist Justin Favela's vibrant and varied art practice, which includes sculpture, installation, curation, performance, and the groundbreaking art & culture podcast Latinos Who Lunch. Produced with attention to craft and materiality, parts of the book are printed on newsprint as a nod to the everyday materials Favela uses in his works. Also featured in the book are 3 riso-printed zines and a fold-out map of Las Vegas--all illustrated by designer Edith Valle. Each cover features a different hand-assembled design containing strips of tissue paper sandwiched in motion behind shrink wrap. Printed in an edition of 1,250 copies, each book is bound using end papers with a unique hand-stamped pattern and an exposed smyth-sewn spine.
