Here are a few tips for getting the best from this book:

 ★Choose a quiet time and choose a quiet space.  Bedtime is a great time.

 ★Gather any props you may need - blanket, cushion, favourite teddy bear.

 ★Encourage your child/ren to find a comfortable position, whether that's sitting or lying.

Children will love hearing these positive relaxation messages and they will no doubt be helpful for when you want to bring peace and calm into their day.

You may wish to record the stories to play during those times that you might not be able to read to them.  

Each relaxation message has a special message.

There is consistency across the stories, which will help your child become used to relaxation.  It will also help them relax a little more when they are familiar with the structure of the story.

When writing this book my intention was that you read one story per evening although of course if children want to hear more than one that is fine but I wanted to highlight this because of the repetition of the positive relaxation messages.  As mentioned above this is totally intended as you may notice that children will relax a little more as they become used to the structure.

 Included in this book is a BONUS relaxation with gaps for the reader to complete.  Use this relaxation to personalise a message for your child.
